Super Eagles forward cum attacking midfielder Alex Iwobi will be moving from Arsenal to Everton as the Toffees according to reports in the English press have successfully secured a late deal for the Nigerian.
Iwobi became Everton’s transfer target after failing to secure the signature of Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace two weeks ago.
Arsenal had initially bid for Zaha too but the prohibitive price tag forced the Gunners to settle for fellow Ivorian Nicolas Pepe.
The Gunners rejected Everton’s £30 million bid but have apparently accepted a £35million offer from the ambitious Liverpool based side.
The transfer window is officially closed in England but Premier League sides can still get deals over the line if they had completed the deal sheet – a paper that shows that all parties involved in the transfer have agreed to the deal.
