In-form winger, Stanley Dimgba says NPFL outfit Enyimba will be ready for CARA Brazzaville on Wednesday as he believes the Aba billionaires can conquer their opponents.
Stanley Dimgba who wears number 13 for Enyimba has been in excellent form for the People’s elephants scoring match winning goals and making crucial assists.
Enyimba are unbeaten in the Continent and defeated Djoliba 2-0 in their last game in a fiercely contested encounter, a game which Dimgba was on target.
CARA are looking or their first win in the group phase.
The encounter will take place at Stade Alphonse Ma ssemba-Débat.
Dimgba beleives Enyimba will take solace in being the only Nigerian team left in continental club competition and excel.
“We are very confident travelling to Congo. We are the only Nigerian team left in the continental club competition and as a result, we have to do very well,” Dimgba told Caf website.
“It’s been so far so good for us on the continent with all the matches played. I believe we can still record victory in Congo if we continue to work together as a team”
“We know they would come at us but we shall be ready for them too. I believe we have a solid team that can withstand pressure anytime, any day.
“We survived against Bidvest in Johannesburg despite all the pressure they mounted. I don’t think CARA can give us as much pressure. Whatever the situation, we shall be ready because it’s a game of 11 against 11.”- Stanley Dimgba
Dimgba looks assured of a starting spot against CARA and would be looking to net once more for the determined Enyimba.
