Luis Enrique replaces Julen Lopetegui as coach of Spain.

Former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has been named as head coach of the Spanish National team replacing the sacked Julen Lopetegui on a two year deal.

Lopetegui lost his job as head coach of the Spanish National team a day to the start of the World Cup having announced that he would become substantive coach of Real Madrid replacing Zidane.

Fernanda Hierro took charge of the Spanish National team at the World Cup and helped them to the Second Round where they lost out to Russia.

Enrique is a multiple winner having won numerous titles with Barcelona including the Champions League in 2015.

Luis Enrique’s Managerial experience also includes a stint with Italian side Roma
