Footytool Sources in England understands that Anthony Martial has rejected a new contract offer from Manchester  United.

The French forward has struggled to nail down a starting berth in the Red Devils first eleven since the appointment of Jose Mourinho as Coach.

Manchester  United want Martial to commit to a new long-term deal, with his current terms expiring next summer and an extension option only available for a further year until 2020.

Martial has scored three goals in six league appearances in all making just four starts,  and once in his three Champions League outings.

Anthony Martial made a blistering start to his United career under Louis van Gaal by scoring 17 goals in his first season.

But he scored only four Premier League goals the following year and nine in the league last season, as he struggled to nail-down a place in Mourinho’s side.
